Drug-Safe Community programmes are created for community leaders to actively promote the minimization of alcohol and illicit drug use on a macro scale within organizations that have a strategic significance and can make a real difference to all those who live, work and play in the community. Together with the ideals expressed in the Drug-Safe Workplace programme, Drug-Safe Community facilitators can build awareness through education and involvement by bodies such schools and sporting groups
